Privacy isn't a feature — it's the foundation the extension is built on.
Emails are parsed in memory and immediately discarded. Only the extracted structured fields (name, amount, date) are saved locally.
We request only gmail.readonly scope. The extension cannot send, delete, or modify any email.
No analytics, no crash reporting, no third-party SDKs. The only network calls are to the Gmail API and Google OAuth.
Subscription data is stored in Chrome's local storage on your device. It is never uploaded to any server.

This Privacy Policy describes how SaaS Subscription Tracker ("the Extension") handles your information. By installing or using the Extension, you agree to this policy.
The Extension requests read-only access to your Gmail account via Google OAuth 2.0 (gmail.readonly scope). It scans email subjects and bodies to identify subscription-related emails (receipts, invoices, renewal notices).
The Extension stores only the structured data it extracts from emails:
Raw email content (subjects, bodies, sender addresses) is processed in memory and never written to storage.
All extracted subscription data is stored locally in Chrome's built-in storage on your device (chrome.storage.local). Your plan preference is stored in chrome.storage.sync to follow you across devices signed into the same Chrome profile. No subscription data is uploaded to any server.
The Extension makes network requests only to:

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who act as the Merchant of Record. Payment information (card details, billing address) is handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy and is never seen or stored by the Extension. Please review Lemon Squeezy's Privacy Policy for details.
The Extension contains no analytics, crash reporting, or usage tracking code. No third-party SDKs are included.
All locally stored data can be deleted at any time via the Extension's Settings page → "Clear all data". Uninstalling the Extension removes all locally stored data automatically.
The Extension is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be noted in the Extension's update changelog. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
